The Third Eye welcomes submissions from writers, artists, researchers and practitioners across genres, at all stages of their careers.

Please read the following guidelines in their entirety. We are currently accepting submissions in the following categories, for our next edition, City.

Idea and Concept

A one page document not exceeding 1000 words pitching your idea, and which form it maybe suitable for (video/audio/text). Please do keep in mind that the idea should further the gender and sexuality discourse from a feminist perspective, and bring to fore complex realities.

Fiction and Poetry

Short stories or excerpts, typically 1,500 – 3000 words looking at the City as an idea, from a gender and feminist perspective.

Looking at the City, as a noun, as a verb, as a spatial-temporal shaper of things. We accept early drafts/ideas and will work with the artist to further develop it.

- An abstract of the piece along with a bio note of the contributor within 300 words.
- Sample of previous work.
