The Third Eye welcomes submissions from writers, artists, researchers and practitioners across genres, at all stages of their careers.
Please read the following guidelines in their entirety. We are currently accepting submissions in the following categories, for our next edition, City.
Idea and Concept
Fiction and Poetry
Short stories or excerpts, typically 1,500 – 3000 words looking at the City as an idea, from a gender and feminist perspective.
Looking at the City, as a noun, as a verb, as a spatial-temporal shaper of things. We accept early drafts/ideas and will work with the artist to further develop it.
- If The Third Eye co-produces an idea with you, it will come under Creative Commons.
- Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, as long as you immediately notify The Third Eye editors that your idea/piece has been accepted elsewhere.
- The Third Eye will hold exclusive print and digital rights to your piece for 90 days, after which you will retain the rights; your piece will remain archived online.
- The fee will be determined according to the commissioned piece.
